The Peace and Serenity Garden at Beck Middle School was created with funds donated by family, friends, and neighbors in Danielle's memory. We created a place where students, teachers, and members of the community could come and reflect and remember Danielle. A statue of a girl playing basketball and a dog are in the center of the garden, flanked by two butterfly benches. Butterflies are the Compassionate Friends' symbol of children who have passed away. There are also butterfly wind chimes and garden ornaments. There is also a peace pole from the school in the garden.
